What is my user number? Where can I find it?
The first message you receive with your positive result is sent by the laboratory to let you know. When your result is registered in the relevant platform, it will be received by the competent department of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and a user number will be generated, which you will receive by message the next day (so it may take 2 days from the day you took the test to receive a code). The 48-hour period you have to fill in your details starts from the time you receive the message with the user code, not from the time the laboratory test was carried out.

The user code you sent me does not work, I cannot log in. The user code is valid for 48 hours after you receive the message containing it. If you do not log in to the platform to fill in your details within this time frame, the password expires and only the basic data listed in the test sent by the laboratory are passed to the official YY database. So, a) If the 48 hours have elapsed, expect a phone call from a YY official to fill in further details. This may take several days. b) If the 48 hours have not elapsed, try one of the following.
- Your date of birth may have been incorrectly recorded by the sampling point/laboratory/pharmacy where you took the test. Check the message you received with your positive result to verify that your date of birth was recorded correctly. If an incorrect date came in the message, log in with the incorrect date (because it was recorded in the system) and when you log in, you can correct it. - If your date of birth is correct, try reversing the date with the month. E.g. If your date of birth is 10/06/2000 (dd/mm/yyyy), try logging in with the date 06/10/2000 (mm/dd/yyyy). When will you send them?[/B]
When your result is registered on the relevant platform, it will be received by the relevant department of the Ministry of Health and a user number will be generated, which you will receive by e-mail the following day. So this may happen a day or two after you are notified of your positive result.

I cannot make my declaration from my phone or I do not have an internet connection. Using the platform is easier via computer. However, your declaration can be completed from any device (laptop, PC, computer, mobile, tablet) and from any software (android, iOS). Any person who has your consent can complete your declaration on your behalf, as long as you provide them with your user number, date of birth and the one-time code that will be sent to your mobile phone when that person tries to log in to the platform. In such a case, that person will have to fill in your details on the platform.

You misspelled my date of birth in the message saying I am positive. Correct it so I can enter the platform. Enter the platform with the date of birth written in the message (even if it is the wrong one). You can correct it after you have logged in.

I keep getting codes on my mobile and none of them work. In the user number, enter the code sent to you in the message you received from the YM. After you also enter your date of birth, you will be asked for a unique number (OTP). You will then receive a message on your mobile phone with a one-time code. Enter it to proceed. If you tap Start Here multiple times, the corresponding unique numbers will be sent to you. Enter the last one you received.

An OTP has been sent to me, I put it in and it won't proceed. The one-time password (OTP) has a duration of a few seconds. Enter it as soon as you receive it. If time passes, you will have to hit Start Here again and then a new code will be sent to you.

I've cached and am trying to get back in. Which of all the codes should I enter?
You will repeat the login process with your user code, your date of birth and the new OTP code that will be sent to you after you enter the other two items and press the Start here button.

No submit. Check on all tabs that you have filled in the required fields (marked with *). When you proceed with submission, it will mark in red at the top of the page the fields you have not filled in that are mandatory.

I'm trying to submit with my declaration when I filled in the platform an hour ago and nothing happens. If you leave the platform inactive for too long, it automatically disconnects, so you can't proceed. Hit refresh and re-enter your codes and new OTP. If you didn't have time to do a Temporary Save, the information you have already entered is unfortunately lost and you will have to fill in all the fields again. Remember to do a Temporary Save if you will stop again, or Register when you finish completing your return. If the declaration is successfully registered, you will be shown a successful registration message.

How do I know my declaration has been successfully registered? Do I get an sms? If the platform displays a successful registration message, it means that the registration has been made. You will not get a message or a copy. Moreover, if you have recorded your email in the corresponding field of the declaration, then you will also receive an email with instructions for self-limitation.

Why won't it allow me to register/save my declaration, while it lets me proceed and greens each step as I proceed? The green colour is not an indication that this step is correctly completed. It lets you proceed so you can fill in information in the remaining fields. If you have left necessary fields unfilled, it will highlight them when you get to the last step and try to make an entry. You can temporarily save an incomplete entry and come back at a second time (within the default 48 hours), edit and enter it.

If I don't have all the information, can I save what I filled in and come back to fill in the rest? Yes, you can. You go through all the steps until you get to Step 8. There you can temporarily save by selecting NO under You have completed your declaration. You can come back later to complete all the fields and make an entry.

What is the use of temporary storage? The purpose of temporary storage is to save any information you have recorded up to that point, in case you need to stop completing your return for any reason, even if you have not completed all the steps of the return, so that it is stored in the system so that you can complete your return at another time. In addition, if you need some help from the telephone lines if you have saved your declaration, the operator you contact will be able to see what you have already entered and identify where there is a problem with your declaration. Where can I now find my saved declaration again?

When you log back on to the platform (with the same user number sent to you from the start by the YY and your date of birth but with the new single-use code sent to the mobile phone of the case), you will find all the data you had saved online and not in a folder on your device.

I have made a temporary storage and my codes have expired without making an entry. Can YY see the information I filled in? No. In order for your information to be transferred to the YY's national outbreak database, you must make an Entry. Otherwise, only the initial data (name, ID number, date of birth and sampling date) will be automatically transferred and you will be called in the next few days by a YHA official to request more information.

QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE COMPLETION OF THE PLATFORM

What are the mandatory fields? Those with a blue symbol next to them or those with an asterisk? Those with an asterisk. The blue symbol is for explanations.

I'm trying to change my name in English because you spelled it wrong. But it won't let me write. To be able to write in this field, your keyboard must be in English and capitalized.

What does isolation mean in Step 7? It means whether you will spend the quarantine alone at home or with others, even if they are in different rooms.

What do I put in the Country of departure in Step 4? The country of departure is the country from which you departed to come to Cyprus. The departure date, flight details and passenger seat are also relevant to this flight.

I try to submit and it takes me to Step 5. If I am unemployed / If I work online, why should I fill it in? This field is mandatory. Fill in your status, whatever it may be (UNEMPLOYED, STUDENT, STUDENT, CHILD, INFANT, PENSIONER, etc.), even if you have not been physically present at the workplace for a while.

I filled in the Education field (for students/teachers/other school staff), but it won't let me make an entry and takes me back to Step 5.
The Employment field is mandatory. Fill in your status there whatever it is (TEACHER, STUDENT, STUDENT, CLEANER, SECRETARY, etc.) and then fill in the information required on the Education tab.

I can't find my doctor in the system. Try using your doctor's first name, last name, phone number or even password (d---) if you know him/her. But only give one item at a time. Try the first or last name in Latin characters as well.

I don't know if I really chose my personal doctor, because I get something orange when I select him. If you have clicked on the doctor's name and it has turned orange, then he has been selected. Click Next to continue.

I have entered my statement, but I forgot to enter a contact. How do I register it now? The system won't allow me to log back in. If you have registered your declaration, you can no longer access the system. Please complete the file you received in your email or which can be found here and send it to contacttracing@moh.gov.cy to be registered. The additional contacts will be updated at a different time than the ones you registered on the platform.

I am trying to register the birth dates of my contacts and it is not proceeding. I have to go back month by month until I get to e.g. 1960. This has mainly been observed in users of the platform via specific mobile devices. Better to hit cache and continue from a computer or some other device for more convenience. Alternatively try typing in the date of birth instead of looking it up in the calendar.
