Public opinion is watching in numbness the revelations about the murder of 7-year-old Andreas, in Kypseli, in 2017 by his mother and her partner. The biological father of the child, who is being treated in a psychiatric hospital, was only informed today, Sunday, about his murder.

He left Greece eight years ago and has had no contact with his two children since then. In fact, he said, he thought he had left the children in "good hands."

"I left the children with their mother. She was a very good mother, she looked after them, took care of them, they went to school. I don't know what happened. I had sent her messages on Facebook and Instagram, but she hadn't answered me," he said, speaking to Alpha, from the psychiatric hospital where he is being treated.

In fact, he didn't even know that his daughter had been placed in foster care because she had been abused by her mother and her partner, whom he also didn't know.

He faces serious psychological problems and has been hospitalized in psychiatric institutions four times.

"I want to go back and kill the person who did this harm to my child," he said of the tragic incident.

The mother of 7-year-old Andreas and her partner will be brought in the coming days to the 12th Tactical Investigator on charges of joint manslaughter for the murder of 7-year-old Andreas in Kypseli in 2017.

The 29-year-old mother of the boy was taken to the Execution Prosecutor on Sunday morning after an arrest warrant was issued against her for the murder of her son and was given a deadline to apologize.

On Saturday evening, her 35-year-old partner was also taken to the Prosecutor's Office. He was prosecuted for manslaughter, joint homicide. He was then brought before an investigating judge, from whom he was given a deadline to apologize on Tuesday.
