Giorgos Papageorgiou gave an interview to "Hello" magazine where he talked about everything. About his first steps in acting, about his collaboration with his mother, Filareti Komninos, but also about his marriage with Danae Michalaki. The actress in all revealed whether they are ready to become parents. Speaking about his parallel involvement with acting and music, George Papageorgiou says: "It's all weighed the same. If you take away one part of me, acting or music, I feel just as complete."
The theatrical sense has been written in me since childhood
At another point he referred to the artistic family he grew up in and answered whether he got stimulation and opportunities: "Of everything it gave me. Initially I was stimulated at home, in Kalamaria, in Thessaloniki, by great artists who came and went, such as Andreas Voutsinas and Manos Hatzidakis, who was a close friend of my father, and they left me a lot as memories, images, smells, everything. On the other hand, many actors of the State Theatre of Northern Greece frequented our house. The sense of the theatre has been written in me since childhood, although I was at an age when I didn't understand who they were. The concept of backstage and backstage, all the spaces that make up the backstage of the theatre, is something that is deeply engraved in me as a memory, which I recover very often in my productions. As it will happen in "Suicide", which I am currently preparing, as it happened in "Aristo". It's as if I dedicate each of my performances to the theatergoers. Simply, purely and magically, it's a tool that can add dimension to a performance. I would sink under a stage at the State Theatre and listen to the show play out above me and the boards would creak from the heels of the leading ladies. That's the atmosphere I try to recreate in my productions. Certainly, early in my career, it was a stumbling block or my attempt to convince the more unbelieving that I was attempting my own steps. I was trying to do strictly personal work, at the risk of failure, in order to convince myself that I am here, that I want to do this work regardless of who my parents are."

About his collaboration with his mother and the fact that he directed her he said: "It wasn't like directing any other actor, there was a very special condition. I wouldn't call it a milestone. I would say it was a very nice step forward for our relationship. I think we both shared a very beautiful experience."
His marriage to Danae Michalaki
The actor couldn't help but mention his marriage to Danae Michalaki, also an actress. I suppose it will change if a child comes along. Danae and I are the same as we were before, we love each other the same, we experience our everyday life in the same way". Asked if they would like a child, she answers: "It exists as a thought, but not as a plan. Whenever it comes, welcome."
