"My brain turned to jam," they tweeted, and we totally get it

A strange image has gone viral on Twitter and we can understand why. It was created by Japanese Jagarikin and no one has figured out what's really going on.

Against a grey background, we see two circles. Whenever an arrow appears in them, they seem to move in the direction it points. At the same time, they seem motionless.

Thousands of Twitter users are trying to come to one conclusion - "I have no idea what's going on here. My brain turned to jam," one wrote."

However, because there are always those who love to rationalize everything and ruin the fun, some explain that "it's an optical illusion" (thanks, Captain Obvious).

"It's clever, the colors in the arrows and the colors in the circles change at different speeds, creating the illusion of movement," said one user of the app."

What do you see? Are they moving, after all?
