Совет Министров сегодня одобрил, по предложению Министра энергетики, торговли и промышленности, г-на Гиоргоса Папанастасиу, "Схему грантов для энергетической модернизации и повышения конкурентоспособности крупных предприятий".
Проект включен в План восстановления и устойчивости Кипра (CRP) на период 2021-2026 гг. и будет финансироваться из средств Механизма восстановления и устойчивости Европейского Союза (ЕС).
Общая сумма, выделенная на нужды проекта, составляет 17 млн. евро,
Из них 10 млн. евро будут выделены по новой схеме ЕС REPowerEU, через соответствующую главу в Кипрском CIP, и, следовательно, только на те категории приемлемых расходов, которые служат целям REPowerEU.
Проект направлен на поддержку, развитие и модернизацию крупных предприятий, включая их энергетическую модернизацию.

The financial support consists of the provision of a grant on defined eligible costs relating, inter alia, to the promotion of energy saving investments in buildings, installations and/or equipment, as well as the transition of the enterprises' operations to a circular model.
The maximum total amount of grant that can be awarded to a Large Enterprise is €750,000.
The beneficiaries of the Scheme are new or existing Large Enterprises, established or to be established in Cyprus, excluding those that are not yet established in Cyprus.
