Ukraine is holding talks with US and European air regulators on the resumption of air traffic. This was reported in an interview with RBC-Ukraine by the country's deputy prime minister for infrastructure, Oleksandr Kubrakov.

According to him, based on Israel's experience in ensuring the safety of air travel, Ukraine is already giving aviation regulators its vision, risk assessment and approaches to how the market will work under martial law.

The plan is to open the airspace for American, European and Ukrainian air carriers, with whom negotiations are already underway. For example, Ryanair recently announced plans to resume flights to Ukrainian cities as soon as air service is opened.
