I wish to express my satisfaction with the decision of the Cyprus Resident Doctors' Guild (SEIDIK) to proceed with the suspension of strike action announced between 19-20 December 2023.
In the meeting I had yesterday at the Ministry of Health with the leadership of SEIDIC, it was clear that with cooperation, positive attitude and constructive dialogue we can provide solutions to the issues that have arisen.
I want to assure you that the requests raised by the Guild will be considered with the utmost attention and that we will make every effort to resolve the issues that have been raised.
