The President of the Republic Mr.Nicos Anastasiades will visit Pournara tomorrow, 14 March, at 9 am, accompanied by the Minister of Interior Mr. Nikos Nouris, the Deputy Minister of Welfare Ms Anastasia Anthousi, the Commissioner for Administration and Protection of Human Rights Ms Maria Stylianou-Lottidis and the Commissioner for the Protection of Children's Rights Ms Despo Michaelidou.
The purpose of the President's visit is to see for himself and examine on the spot the situation at the temporary accommodation site.
A wide-ranging staff meeting to examine the situation in Pournara will follow at the Presidential Palace.
The meeting on the mountain communities scheduled for tomorrow will take place immediately after the conclusion of the staff meeting to examine the situation in Pournara.
