The President of the Republic Mr Nikos Christodoulides will leave tomorrow morning for Cairo, Egypt, where, at the invitation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, he will participate in the proceedings of the International Conference for Peace on the situation in the Middle East.
Leaders of countries and organizations from around the world, including the Middle East and the Gulf, Europe, the Eastern Mediterranean, Africa and elsewhere, as well as the Secretary-General of the United Nations and leaders of European Union institutions, have been invited and will also participate in the Conference.
In the framework of the Conference, which will be held in the new Administrative Capital of Egypt, President El-Sisi will host a working lunch, while in the margins of the Conference President Christodoulides will have bilateral contacts with Heads of State or Government. Constantinos Kombos, the Government Spokesman Constantinos Letibiotis and the Director of the President's Diplomatic Office, Ms Marilena Raouna.
President Christodoulides will return to Cyprus in the evening of the same day.
