The President of the Hellenic Republic, Mr.Nikos Christodoulides, will travel to Berlin today, where he will attend a working dinner with a group of leaders of EU member states, at the invitation of the Chancellor of Germany, Mr. Olaf Scholz and the President of the European Council, Charles Michel.
The aim of the meeting is to discuss the new Strategic Agenda to be adopted by the EU in June 2024, with a focus on enlargement and the possible reforms stemming from it.
The Berlin working dinner is part of a series of working dinners of EU leaders convened by President Michel in Zagreb, Berlin, Copenhagen and Paris.
In addition to President Christodoulides, the leaders of Austria, Belgium, Greece, Hungary, Latvia and Greece will participate in the working dinner hosted by Chancellor Scholz in Berlin tomorrow evening.
The leaders will be welcomed by the President of the European Council and the German Chancellor at 8 p.m. Cyprus time in the Chancellery, followed by a family photo.
The dinner, which will start at 8.30 p.m, is expected to last around two hours.
The President and his entourage will return to Cyprus on Tuesday 14 November.
