The President of the Republic Mr Nicos Anastasiades had a telephone conversation with the President of the European Council Mr Charles Michel late this afternoon, in view of the extraordinary European Council to be held tomorrow in Brussels.
During their communication, the President of the Republic informed Michel that he is in Dubai in view of the International Cyprus Day at EXPO 2020, where he will be a speaker at an international business forum organised in the framework of the Cyprus Day.
The President of the Republic informed the President of the European Council that he will be represented by the Prime Minister of Greece, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, with whom he has already reached an agreement.
