The Council of Ministers met today under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic Mr Nicos Anastasiades. The following decisions were taken. The beneficiaries of the financial assistance amount to 19 thousand coming from 7,500 households of 110 communes. The necessary appropriations amount to €2.1 million.
The Council of Ministers approved the amendment of the General Development Decree 2003-2021 on Town and Country Planning to allow the installation of electric vehicle recharging points at existing petrol stations without the need to obtain a planning permit.
The Council of Ministers was informed about the implementation report of the 2nd National Disability Action Plan 2018-2020 and approved the 3rd National Disability Action Plan for the years 2021-2023. The National Action Plan includes 135 actions (58 new and 77 ongoing) to be implemented by 8 Ministries and 3 Deputy Ministries.
The Council of Ministers authorized the Minister of Finance to withdraw the regulations on the official vehicles of state officials recently submitted to Parliament. This decision was taken on the recommendation of the President of the Republic Mr. Nicos Anastasiades.
