The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud will pay a working visit to Cyprus on Sunday 13 February 2022.
At noon on Sunday he will meet privately with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Ioannis Kasoulides, followed by extended consultations between the two Ministers in the presence of official delegations of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus and Saudi Arabia.
The discussions are expected to focus, inter alia, on the full range of bilateral relations between Cyprus and Saudi Arabia, as well as the prospects for further strengthening and deepening them, regional developments in the countries of the Eastern Mediterranean region, the Gulf and the wider Middle East, the Cyprus problem, regional developments, EU-Saudi relations, as well as other international issues of common interest.
At the end of the consultations, the two Foreign Ministers will make statements to the press (13:45).
On Sunday morning, the Saudi Foreign Minister will be received at the Presidential Palace by the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nicos Anastasiades.
