The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that work on the project "Improvement of the Yermasoyia Bypass Road", Phase A continues as normal.
During the period from Monday 29/1/2024 until Tuesday 30/4/2024, work will be carried out at the junction of Patron Street and Agia Paraskevi Street. During the execution of the works, the section of the junction of the two roads will be closed for traffic from and to Agios Athanasios - Spalangiotissa, while traffic from and to the dam of Germasogeia - Finikaria will be through the adjacent temporary vehicle access and will be regulated by traffic lights. Traffic to and from the area of Agios Athanasios - Spalagiotissa will be via Tilliria - Agia Paraskevi road.
Also, the period of execution of works on the eastern part of Isabella Street, from its junction with Mikis Theodorakis Street to its junction with Potamia Street, is extended until 30/4/2024. This section of the road remains closed to traffic and traffic to and from the eastern area is routed through an adjacent temporary road section constructed for this purpose.
All other traffic arrangements remain unchanged.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and urges the public to demonstrate the necessary understanding and patience and to comply with the temporary road signs and police instructions.
