The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport and Youth announces that on Tuesday, 20 February 2024, the Minister of Education, Dr Athena Michaelidou will meet with Experts from Kuwait during their visit to Cyprus as part of the evaluation and recognition process of the programmes in the fields of Medicine of the University of Cyprus, the University of Nicosia, the European University Cyprus and the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics.
It is noted that a Memorandum of Understanding in the fields of Higher Education and Sciences between the Government of the Republic of Cyprus and the Government of the State of Kuwait is in force since October 2013. During the meeting, ways and actions to further strengthen cooperation in Higher Education between the two countries will be discussed.
This meeting is part of the strategy of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth for the promotion and internationalization of Higher Education in Cyprus and the establishment of our country as an International and Regional Centre of Higher Education and Research.
