A delegation of the Cyprus-Germany Friendship Group (CF) to the House of Representatives will travel the day after tomorrow, Monday, 28 November 2022, to Berlin, for a two-day visit, at the invitation of the President of the German-Cypriot FA in the German Bundestag, Mrs. Derya Türk-Nachbaur. The delegation consists of the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign and European Affairs and President of the OF, Mr. Harris Georgiades (head), the MP Mr. Nikos Tornaritis and the deputies Mrs. Marina Nikolaou, Mrs. Christiana Erotokritou and Mrs. Alexandra Attalidou. The delegation will be accompanied by the International Relations Officer of the Parliament, Ms Elena Persianis.
The delegation will be received by the Vice President of the Bundestag Ms. Aydan Özoğuz and will have a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ms. Susanne Baumann, who is responsible, among other things, for UN issues, arms control, crisis management, economy and technology, as well as legal issues. He will also have separate meetings with President Türk-Nachbaur and members of the German-Cypriot Foreign Affairs Committee, President Dr. Marie Agnes Strack Zimmermann and members of the Defence Committee, President Anton Hofreiter and members of the Committee on European Affairs, President Anton Hofreiter and members of the European Affairs Committee, President Türk-Nachbaur and members of the Foreign Affairs Committee. Klaus Ernst and members of the Committee on Climate Protection and Energy, the Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs Mr Thomas Erndl and members of the Committee, and the Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Home Affairs Dr Lars Castellucci and members of the Committee.
