The Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign and European Affairs and Chairman of the Cyprus-Armenia Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Committee (ICPC) Mr.Harris Georgiades and the Members of the Committee Mr. Chairman), George Loukaides, Marina Nikolaou, Chrissis Pantelidis, Marios Karoyan and the Armenian Representative to the House of Representatives Mr. Vartkes Makhtesian, will travel to Yerevan on Sunday, October 1, 2023, for a reciprocal three-day official visit, at the invitation of the respective Armenian-Cypriot FTA to the National Assembly of Armenia. The delegation will be accompanied by the Senior Official for International Relations of the Parliament Mrs. Georgia Neophytou.
In the framework of its visit, the delegation will be received by the President of the country Mr. Vahagn Khachaturyan, the Prime Minister Mr. Nikol Pashinyan and the Speaker of the National Assembly Mr. Alen Simonyan. He will also have a meeting with the President Mr. Hayk Konjoryan and Members of the FTA in the National Assembly of Armenia. He is also expected to have separate meetings with Foreign Minister Mr. Ararat Mirzoyan and Defense Minister Mr. Suren Papikyan.
In addition, as part of the visit, the Parliament delegation will visit sites of historical and cultural interest in Armenia.
