The Marine Environment Sector of the Department of Fisheries and Marine Research of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment intends to recruit two (2) Temporary Employees to cover the needs of the Department for the implementation of Priority 4: "Strengthening international ocean governance and ensuring safe, secure, protected, clean seas and oceans" of the European Union (EU) co-funded Operational Programme for Marine, Fisheries and Aquaculture (OP Marine, Fisheries and Aquaculture) 2021-2027.
Specifically, the two posts are:
- One (1) Fisheries and Marine Research Officer (Cl. A8, A10 & A11) - Marine Strategy Framework Directive (2008/56/EU), Qualitative Characteristics (QD) 4 - Food webs, Qualitative Characteristics (QD) 7 - Hydrographic Conditions
- One (1) Fisheries and Marine Research Officer (Cl. A8, A10 & A11) - Marine Strategy Framework Directive (2008/56/EU), Qualitative descriptor (QD) 1 - Biodiversity, Qualitative descriptor (QD) 2 - Alien species, Qualitative descriptor (QD) 11 - Underwater noise
The period of employment of both EEA will be from the date of recruitment until 31 December 2029.
