Due to the further escalation of tensions in the region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises citizens of the Republic of Cyprus to avoid travelling to Ukraine.
In addition, citizens of the Republic of Cyprus who are permanently and/or temporarily residing anywhere in Ukraine are advised to leave the country while direct commercial flights are still operating. It is noted that in case of further deterioration of the situation, airlines may vary or suspend their flight schedule to and from Ukraine.
Cypriot nationals whose presence in the country is deemed necessary by them are advised to remain alert and provide their contact details to the Embassy of the Republic in Kiev, and register on the online platform www.connect2cy.gov.cy
