[PIO] The President of the Republic will have a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of Israel

Developments in the Cyprus problem, bilateral relations between Cyprus and Israel, energy issues, regional developments, as well as EU-Israel relations, will be among the issues to be discussed at the meeting between President Nicos Christodoulides and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who arrives in Cyprus tomorrow.

The meeting of the two leaders, which will take place in the afternoon of tomorrow, 3 September, at the Presidential Palace, follows the visit of President Christodoulides to Israel last May, while it will also precede the Trilateral Summit of Cyprus, Greece and Israel, which will take place the following day, 4 September, in Nicosia, with the participation of the Prime Minister of Greece, Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu.

Tomorrow, the President of the Republic will receive Mr Netanyahu at the Presidential Palace, and after the official reception ceremony, they will hold a private meeting, which will be followed by extended talks between the delegations of the two countries.
