[PIO] The President of the Republic met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia

The President of the Hellenic Republic, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, met yesterday in New York with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Mr Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud.

Among the issues discussed at the meeting were developments in the Cyprus issue, regional developments, as well as issues concerning bilateral relations between Cyprus and Saudi Arabia and ways to further promote them in various fields.

The meeting was also attended by Foreign Minister Faisal Faisal Saud, Mr. Konstantinos Kombos, the Government Spokesman Mr. Konstantinos Letibiotis, the Permanent Representative of the Republic to the United Nations Mr. Andreas Hadjichrysanthou, the Director of the Middle East, Gulf and Africa Directorate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ms. Salina Shiabou and the Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Office of the President Mr. Doros Venezis.
