The President of the Republic Mr.Nikos Christodoulides arrived in Cyprus this afternoon from Bucharest together with the President of the European Commission Mrs.Ursula von der Leyen, with whom they participated in the Plenary Session of the 27th Plenary Session of the European People's Party.
Tonight, the President of the Republic will host a private dinner for Mrs Ursula von der Leyen at the Presidential Palace.
Among the issues to be discussed at the dinner are the maritime corridor for humanitarian aid to Gaza, and their visit tomorrow to the port of Larnaca for this purpose, the current situation in the Cyprus problem and the migration issue.
Before the start of the dinner, President Christodoulides showed Mrs Ursula von der Leyen around the gardens of the Presidential Palace.
