[PIO] The President of the Republic attended a working breakfast with Cypriot and Greek MPs, members of the CSE

The President of the Republic, Mr Nicos Christodoulides, who is in Strasbourg, where he will address the Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) this afternoon, attended a working breakfast with Cypriot and Greek MPs, members of the PACE.

The working breakfast was attended by Cypriot MPs Mr. Nikos Tornaritis, Mr. George Loukaides, Mr. Kostas Efstathiou and Ms. Christiana Erotokritou and Greek MPs Ms. Dora Bakoyannis and Mr. Georgios Mylonakis.

Also attending the breakfast were the Government Spokesman Mr. Konstantinos Letibiotis, the Permanent Representative of the Republic in Strasbourg, Ambassador Dimitris Hatziargyrou, the Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Office of the President, Mr. Doros Venezis, the Permanent Representative of Greece in Strasbourg, Ambassador Panagiotis Beglitis, and officials.

Among the issues discussed during the working breakfast were issues of interest to the Council of Europe, the importance of the implementation of the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), as well as developments in the Cyprus problem.
