The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mrs. Rachid Talbi El Alami on the devastating earthquake that struck the country, which, she said, claimed the lives of thousands of people and caused untold suffering and incalculable damage to historical sites and priceless monuments.
In these very difficult moments, Ms. Demetriou, our thoughts are with the families of the victims, the injured and the rescuers who are making superhuman efforts to limit human losses.
The President of Parliament expresses the sincere condolences and the unreserved solidarity and support of all Members of Parliament and herself personally to the families of the victims, to the Parliament and to the friendly people of Morocco.
