The President of the House of Representatives, Mrs Anita Demetriou, is travelling to Rome today to attend the funeral of the President of the European Parliament, David Maria Sassoli.
Subsequently, Ms Demetriou will travel to Strasbourg, where on Monday, 17 January 2022, she will attend a ceremony in honour of the memory of David Sassoli, which will take place at the opening of the Plenary Session of the European Parliament.
