[PIO] The President of the Hellenic Republic laid a wreath at the Memorial of the Fallen at the Army Park in Athens

The President of the Republic Mr.Nikos Christodoulides laid a wreath today at noon at the Memorial of the Fallen in Cyprus, which is located at the Army Grounds in Goudi, Athens, where the President is on a one-day visit.

Upon his arrival at the Army Grove, President Christodoulides was received by the Chief of the General Staff of the National Defence Staff, General Dimitrios Houpis, while a military cavalcade paid tribute.

This was followed by the laying of a wreath and the playing of the National Anthem.
