The International Maritime Exhibition "Sea Japan" is held every second year in Japan and has established itself among the most important maritime exhibitions in Asia. The exhibition, first held in 1994 and celebrating 30 years this year, will take place between 10-12 April in Tokyo and is expected to be the largest exhibition to date. Some 600 exhibitors from 30 countries will participate and the number of visitors is expected to exceed 20,000.
The Ministry of Shipping will participate in the international maritime exhibition "Sea Japan" together with the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry (YEEB) with an exhibition booth. A delegation of the Deputy Ministry of Shipping will provide, throughout the exhibition, information to visitors on the advantages of Cypriot shipping, the registration of ships under the Cypriot flag, the Cypriot tonnage tax system and information on all services offered by the Deputy Ministry.
Within the framework of the exhibition, Cyprus will be presented as a developed maritime centre and the Cypriot flag as a flag of quality and reliability.
The Ministry of Shipping will also participate in the Cyprus Business Forum, which will be organised on 9 April 2024 by the Ministry of Shipping in cooperation with the KEBE and the Commercial Centre of the Embassy of Cyprus in Tokyo, in order to promote Cyprus as a business centre in the field of shipping, technology and more broadly.
