The Sponsorship Programme CYPRUS 2024 is announced for the second consecutive year, responding to the need for modernization of the state policy regarding the festival scene in our country, providing support to organizations for the organization of Contemporary Arts Festivals. Among the priorities of the Programme are the strengthening of the organisational infrastructure, international networking, modernisation and upgrading of the artistic programme of the Festivals, aiming at engaging the Cypriot audience in activities of diverse artistic experience. A total of 18 single or multi-thematic contemporary arts festivals were sponsored, encouraging both Cypriot creativity and international collaborations, thus strengthening and empowering the festival ecosystem in Cyprus.
