The Council of Ministers approved, at its meeting today, the proposal of the Minister of Energy, Trade and Industry, Mrs.Natasha Pileidou, for the announcement of three sponsorship projects concerning the provision of incentives to Cypriot companies to participate privately in exhibitions held in Cyprus and abroad, with a real presence or online, aiming at the promotion of their products and services.
The sponsorship projects contribute to achieving the strategic objective of the New Commercial Policy 2021-2030 of the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry (MoETI) to enhance the extroversion of enterprises and increase their exports.
The three projects, which will be announced by the Trade Department of the Ministry of Trade, early next week, concern.
- The participation of Cypriot enterprises operating in the sectors of processing and trading of agricultural products in a private exhibition in Cyprus or abroad.
- The participation of Cypriot enterprises operating in the sectors of services in a private exhibition in Cyprus or abroad.
- The participation of Cypriot enterprises operating in the sectors of services in a private exhibition in Cyprus or abroad.
- The participation of Cypriot enterprises operating in the sectors of services in a private exhibition in Cyprus or abroad.
It is noted that businesses may also participate in online & virtual trade fairs organised abroad.
