Health Minister Michael Damianos expressed his thanks to the Shriners Paediatric Hospitals for the great work they do, during his visit to Makarios Hospital today.
The Minister of Health said that the performance of the surgeries by the Shriners team in Cyprus is an excellent action and expressed his appreciation for their dedication in providing health services in our country.
Mr Damianos recalled that the Shriners doctors performed surgeries in our country for the first time at the end of last October.
The Minister of Health explained that along with the surgeries, dozens of children from Cyprus and neighbouring countries are being examined at the George and Thelma Paraskevaides Foundation these days.
In conclusion, he thanked the George and Thelma Paraskevaides Foundation and Mr. On behalf of the George and Thelma Paraskevaides Foundation, Mr. Kostas Paraskevaides expressed the hope that the cooperation will continue in the future so that more and more children can benefit from it.
