[PIO] The Minister of Energy, Trade and Industry will represent the President of the Republic at the international investment conference Investopia

The Minister of Energy, Trade and Industry, Mr. George Papanastasiou, departs today for Milan, where he will represent the President of the Republic at the 2nd Investopia Europe international investment conference to be held tomorrow, 10 May 2024.

Specifically, Mr. Papanastasiou will participate in the first roundtable discussion of the conference, at 10:55 a.m. Cyprus time, on Fostering Economic Growth through International Cooperation and Partnership. Participants in the panel will also include Mr Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Mr Adolfo Urso, Minister of Business of Italy and Mr Silvio Schembri, Minister of Economy, Business and Strategic Projects of Malta.

In the margins of Investopia Europe, the Minister of Energy is also scheduled to hold private meetings with his UAE and Italian counterparts, Mr. Adolfo Schurr and Mr. Silvio Schurr. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri and Adolfo Urso.
