The Minister of Education, Culture, Sport and Youth, Mr Prodromos Prodromou, departed yesterday afternoon for Poitiers, France, to participate as a keynote speaker at the Ministerial Conference on: "Embedding European Perspectives in Teacher Development" to be held today, 3 March 2022, in the framework of the French Presidency of the Council of the EU.
He will then travel to Angers, where he will participate in the Informal Meeting of Ministers of Culture, to be held on 7 and 8 March 2022. During his stay in France, the Minister will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Hellenic Foundation in Paris (Fondation Hellénique) and will hold a meeting with the internationally renowned director Costas Gavras with the aim of promoting Cypriot Cinema.
Mr Prodromou returns to Cyprus on Wednesday, 9 March 2022.
