[PIO] The forest fire at the borders of the community of Mathiatis is under full control

The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that today Friday 26 April 2024 at 03:30 a.m. a fire occurred at the location "Mathiatis Mine" within the community of Mathiatis.

Thanks to the immediate intervention of the firefighting forces of the Forestry Department, the fire was brought under full control before it spread.

4 persons of the Forestry Department with 1 fire engine and 3 persons of the Fire Service with 1 fire engine worked to extinguish the fire.
