Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos is travelling to Brussels today, where tomorrow, Monday 11 December, he will participate in the work of the EU Foreign Affairs Council (FAC).
The discussions at the FAC will focus on the situation in Israel and developments in the wider Middle East region. Also on the agenda will be the ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine, as well as the situation in the Sahel.
The FAC meeting will be preceded by an informal working breakfast with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
After the conclusion of the FAC, the Ministerial Meeting on the Eastern Partnership (EaP) will take place, which will be attended by the EU Foreign Ministers and the Foreign Ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
On Tuesday, 12 December 2023, the Foreign Minister will participate in the work of the EU General Affairs Council (GAERC).

During the work of the JHA, Ministers are expected, inter alia, to adopt Conclusions on Enlargement, as well as in relation to the annual Rule of Law Dialogue and the management of demographic change in Europe.
The Council will also prepare the European Council meeting to be held on 14 and 15 December in Brussels, while the Presidency will brief ministers on the next steps in relation to the Conference on the Future of Europe.
