The Environment Commissioner's Office and the Cyprus Corporate Social Responsibility Network-CSR Cyprus are co-organising a workshop on "How to measure and reduce the environmental footprint of your business", on Tuesday, 16 January 2024, at the Municipality of Paralimni.
The workshop is addressed to small and medium-sized enterprises and aims to inform them on how they can reduce their environmental footprint. The participants of the workshop will address, inter alia, the financial instruments available for reducing the environmental footprint of SMEs, the methodology for measuring and verifying the environmental footprint and the greenhouse gas index and the financial risks for businesses. The workshop will present two good practices of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and implementation of circular economy principles by Cypriot enterprises.
The workshop is the third in a series of green skills development workshops for SMEs organised by the Environment Commissioner's Office in cooperation with CSR Cyprus, aiming to promote green skills, an initiative launched last year in the framework of the Green and Digital Skills Year.
