The Office of the Environment Commissioner and the Cyprus Network for Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility (CSR Cyprus) with the support of the Municipality of Larnaca are co-organizing a workshop on "Green Infrastructure and Energy Upgrading of Buildings", on Tuesday, 16 April 2024, at the Multipurpose Multipurpose Social Welfare and Employment Centre of Larnaca Municipality.
The participants and participants of the workshop will address, among others, energy technologies and sustainable building design, the advantages of energy efficiency and good practices of energy upgrading in the hotel sector. The workshop will also include the presentation of sponsorship projects for the energy upgrading of buildings and the energy upgrading of school buildings through green public procurement.
The workshop is the fourth in a series of training activities developed jointly between the Office of the Environment Commissioner and CSR Cyprus, aimed at developing green skills and promoting sustainable development principles among Cypriot business executives.

The previous three actions, on the implementation of circular economy principles in businesses, the prevention of greenwashing, and the measurement and reduction of the carbon footprint of businesses, took place in the provinces of Nicosia, Limassol and Famagusta, respectively, while another action is planned to be implemented in the coming months in the Paphos province.
