The General Accounting Office of the Republic, in the context of its commitment to digitize procedures and improve the services provided to citizens, informs the public that from today, Wednesday, 19 June 2024, the new digital service "Email registration at FIMAS". Using this service, all beneficiaries receiving payments from the General Accounting Office's FIMAS accounting system will be able to register the email address to which they wish to receive the "Payment Details" form electronically.

By sending the "Payment Details" form electronically, the practice of sending it by post will be gradually replaced and savings of approximately 300,000 postal letters per year are expected.

The new digital service "Register email in FIMAS" is available via the website gov.cy and is addressed to both legal and natural persons who wish to receive the "Payment Details" form easily, quickly and ecologically by email.

To register/change the beneficiary's email address through this service, the following are required:

  1. an identified account CY Login, but the CY Login user does not need to be the same as the beneficiary for whom the registration/change of email address will be made, and
  2. a recent "Payment Details" form from the last two years (the beneficiary code and the remittance number are required - see the example form "Payment Details")
