The Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, Mr. Filippos Hadjizaharias had a meeting yesterday, at his office, with a delegation of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber of Cyprus (ETEK) under its President Mr. Constantinos Konstantis. During the meeting, the meeting primarily discussed the strengthening of cooperation between the Ministry of State and ETEK to promote issues related to the digital transformation of the state.
They also discussed the actions concerning the creation of a single GIS information point, which will provide information from semi-governmental organizations in relation to the reform of local government.
Finally, the creation of an Electronic Building Identity Register was discussed, which is considered by the ETEK to be of paramount importance for the effective protection and optimal management of the building stock of Cyprus.
