The Department of Antiquities of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that, in the framework of awareness actions against childhood cancer, which are carried out by the Pancyprian Association for Children with Cancer and Related Diseases "A Dream a Wish" on the occasion of the World Day against Childhood Cancer on 15 February 2022, will illuminate Paphos Castle in gold from 13-15 February 2022.

The main objective of the "A Dream a Wish" Association is to raise awareness and inform the public about childhood cancer, to fulfill the wishes of children with cancer, as well as to provide psychological and financial support to them and their families, who together fight the daily battle against cancer.

In the context of the social policy implemented by the Department of Antiquities through the illumination of Ancient Monuments, it is with great pleasure that it participates in yet another social action and hopes that this will strengthen the efforts of the Association, while sending a message of support and optimism to all vulnerable groups of the population.
