[PIO] The Cyprus Rural Payments Organisation in Antwerp for the Panta Rhei conference

The official opening of the Panta Rhei conference was held today in Antwerp by Mr. Frank Vlieghe, President of the Panta Rhei Secretariat. The opening was also attended by Mr. Tim Ampe, Head of the Flemish Payments Agency. The Cyprus Agricultural Payments Agency (CAP) participates in the conference with two Officers.

The conference includes workshops on topics such as empowering end-users in the design of e-services and the use of artificial intelligence and automation in geotagged photos. Presentations will cover various topics such as the future of the Common Agricultural Policy, photo applications with geographic data, IT controls in performance reporting systems, data virtualisation and visualisation for APR, new ways of authorisation and authentication and the FaST tool for sustainable nutrient management.

The conference started yesterday, Wednesday, where delegates participated in a workshop on the New Common Agricultural Policy. Specifically, the workshop concerned the automation of geotagged photos using Artificial Intelligence.
