[PIO] The Cyprus Organization for Standardization co-organized a webinar on "HR Reporting & Metrics in Recruitment, Selection & Retention"

The Cyprus Organization for Standardization (CYS), as part of its activities to inform and educate stakeholders and the public in general about international and European standards, successfully co-organized, on Wednesday 11 October 2023, the webinar "HR Reporting & Metrics in Recruitment, Selection & Retention", with the Cyprus Human Resources Management Association (CyHRMA).

The experience and expertise of the speaker Mr. Neil McCormick, who comes from the field of International Standardization and specifically from the directly involved International Technical Committee "ISO Technical Committee 260 Human Resource Management", on issues of standards and standardization, contributed significantly to the comprehensive information of the participants. Mr. McCormick's contribution to the writing of the standards focusing on HR Reporting & Metrics was a milestone in the field. In addition, Mr. McCormick is the coordinator of the Metrics Working Group of ISO TC 260 Human Resource Management. Particular emphasis was placed on the standards ISO 30414 HRM: Guidelines for internal & external human capital reporting and ISO TS 30421 HRM: Turnover & Retention Metrics.

The webinar was attended by over 100 participants from a wide range of the HR sector, from Cyprus, Greece, Australia, Finland and the Philippines, demonstrating that this sector recognises the need to support metrics & reporting through the use of standards as supporting tools.

CYS, recognizing that standards, although voluntary, can be supporting tools, actively participates in the work of ISO TC 260 HRM through its national representatives. This participation, as well as the participation in the corresponding CYS National Reflecting Committee, enhances the involvement of Cypriot enterprises in the standardization work of international standards development in this field.
