On Monday 4 December 2023, the "Agricultural and Rural Inspiration Awards 2023" were held at the Théâtre du Vaudeville in Brussels, where the members of the European Network of the Common Agricultural Policy were invited to participate. During the event, which has now become an institution, the most innovative and imaginative projects/actions funded through the Common Agricultural Policy were awarded.
The Second Meeting of the European Network of the Common Agricultural Policy was also held with the participation of the Cyprus Agricultural Payments Agency (CAP).
The main objectives of the second meeting of the European Network of the Common Agricultural Policy were. [*]To inform members about the activities of the Network including the First Steering Committee Meeting. [*]To discuss the important role of networking with regard to the implementation and evaluation of the strategic plans, as well as to promote the exchange of know-how and innovation. [/LIST]
Presentations were made on the issues discussed at the First Steering Committee Meeting, the procedures to be followed during the Network meetings as recorded by the European Commission were adopted, and members were briefed on networking activities undertaken. In addition, there was an exchange of information among the members of the Network on the activities carried out in general. Finally, there was a recapitulation of what had been discussed and a general discussion on various other issues of concern to those involved.
