[PIO] The "Avaka Gorge" Trail closed

The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment informs the public that, due to the increased water flow, Due to the increased water flow, the slipperiness of the ground and the risk of falling rocks and soil, the "Avakas Gorge" in the Akamas National Forest Park will be closed from 15/12/2023, until the danger for visitors has passed.

The Forestry Department apologizes for any inconvenience to the public, however the closure is deemed necessary for their safety. It will return with a new announcement when the gorge is completely safe for visitors.
