Following the study of the finding forwarded to the Attorney General of the Republic by the Ethics and Sports Protection Committee on 2 November 2023, which concerns the possible commission of criminal offences by a member of the Cyprus Olympic Committee (COE), the Attorney General of the Republic decided to forward the finding and the collected testimonial material to the Chief of Police, with instructions for a criminal investigation as to the possible commission of any criminal offences, as they arise from the facts mentioned in the said finding of the investigating officer.
