The Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to Nepal, based in New Delhi, Mr. Evagoras Vryonidis presented on 13 May 2024 his credentials to the President of Nepal Mr. Ramchandra Paudel at an official ceremony held in the capital city of Kathmandu.
Mr. Vryonidis conveyed to President Paudel the warm wishes of the President of the Republic and the people of Cyprus, expressing in particular the gratitude of our country for Nepal's consistent support to the Cyprus problem. He also conveyed Cyprus' commitment to further strengthen Cyprus-Nepal relations in areas of mutual interest, both at bilateral and multilateral levels.
During his stay in Kathmandu. During his stay in Kathmandu, Mr. Vryonidis met with the Foreign Minister of Nepal Mr. Narayan Kaji Shrestha, as well as with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ms. Sewa Lamsal. He also held a meeting with the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security Mr. Dol Prasad Aryal. Vryonidis stressed his commitment to work to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
