The Student Welfare Service of the Directorate of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth (YSPAN) informs the public that the application for granting student care (sponsorship and allowances) and the information form thereof for the academic year 2021-2022, on the website www.moec.gov.cy/
Interested parties are invited to submit their applications by 31 March 2022. It is stressed that this deadline is set by the State Student Services Act 2015 to 2020 and no extension will be granted. Any late applications will be rejected.
The following is noted.
(b) Application forms for the provision of state student care are available only on the above-mentioned website of the Ministry of Social Welfare. Since the KEPs and KEPOs do not have application forms available, citizens should obtain the relevant application forms from the above-mentioned website before coming to the Centres to deliver their application.
[C](c) Upon receipt of applications, the CCPs and CCPOs will not proceed to check the applications. Should there be a need to provide any additional supporting documents/confirmations, applicants will be informed by the Student Affairs Office.
(d) Applicants will receive a message on the mobile phone included in their application informing them that their application has been received. In the event that they do not receive a message confirming receipt of their application within 48 hours, they should contact the CCP/CEP where they have submitted their application for clarification purposes.
