The Government will soon make announcements on specific sectors of the economy, taking into account the role of Cypriot businesses, President of the Republic Mr. Nicos Christodoulides.
In his statements to journalists, coming to the Headquarters of the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (CBI), in Nicosia, for a meeting with the CBI Executive Committee, President Christodoulides said: "Being at the OEB today, I want to mention first and foremost that we approach them as partners in our joint effort to strengthen our country's economy.
Over time, all Governments, including our own Government, have been working to attract quality investment to our country.
At the same time, we have to look at Cypriot entrepreneurs, we have to see how through specific incentives, through specific actions, we support Cypriot entrepreneurs in Cyprus and their activities abroad. And this is one of the reasons why I am here today, to discuss specifically.
And soon the Government will make some announcements regarding specific sectors of the economy, taking into account the role of Cypriot businesses."
