A commonly agreed framework for discussion on the issue of collective agreements was the outcome of a meeting, chaired today by Health Minister Dr. Popi Kanari, which was attended by the leadership of OKYPY and the guilds representing workers in public hospitals.
This framework for discussion, as stated by the Minister of Health, will be elaborated and discussed at the beginning of January, by a panel which will be set up and composed of representatives of the OCYPY and the Guilds.
The aim is to reach a final agreement on all points of the collective agreements by 20 January, so that it can be put to a new meeting, in the presence of all the parties concerned, at the end of the same month.
Finally, Dr Kanari expressed her satisfaction with the positive mood shown by the participants in today's meeting in order to find commonly accepted solutions.
