[PIO] Statements by the President of the Republic

There is nothing to be announced, President of the Republic Nicos Christodoulides said in relation to the issue of the Chief of Police.

Speaking to reporters tonight, after an event at the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation, the President of the Republic, asked if he would dismiss the Chief of Police, said that "when I have something to announce, I will announce it. I do not make public statements without having decided something. When I decide something, you can be sure that I will let you know."

Asked if he asked for further clarification, the President replied in the affirmative.
