We support the efforts of Ms Holguín, who believes in the common future of Cyprus, President of the Republic Nicos Christodoulides said tonight.
In his remarks to reporters, while attending the event for the "Larmaka Land of Tomorrow" project, the President of the Republic, asked to comment on a report by the UN Secretary General's (UN) Personal Envoy for the Cyprus problem, Ms. Holguín, in an open letter, about moving away from solutions that have not yielded results, said: "No, it does not refer to a solution outside the UN framework, it refers more to methodological issues that were used in the past and did not produce any results.
We support Ms. Holguín's effort, we support the fact that she really believes in the common future of Cyprus and we are here to work to achieve it."
